Primary fail.

Scott McInnis lost last night-to freaking Don Maes.
I'm disappointed with CO.
Don has NO political experience. Contrary to popular belief that is NOT a good thing.
Congratulations John Hickenlooper-you are our next Governor.

I understand that there are going to be better things. I now have 6 months of campaign experience on my resume. That can't hurt. I'm going to take tonight and figure out where I want to go from here in regards to Politics.

Walking in the rain

I saw Inception. I like to think of myself as pretty intelligent. I thought I understood it, but then the ending screwed up everything I thought was going on. So no, I didn't understand it. I don't think it is as great as everyone is saying it is. Sorry kids.

It's primary week. Which means a lot of phone calls, sign waves ect. I make enough phone calls at work, it's the last thing I want to do w/ my weekend is make more phone calls. Well I did. We are in it to win it! GO SCOTT! After campaign shenanigans I saw the above movie. When Sally and I left the theater it was raining, and yes we had to walk. Good times, other than the fact that my neighbors think I am stalking them :) ha.

Moving on ---> should make this the theme of my life (Lyndsay stop rolling your eyes)

This video is funny: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nYGpelWYFx0
No I do not think I can be considered a "Colorado girl" YET but needless to say I enjoy it.

Vegas!

Las Vegas!!
LOVE that city! Got there on Monday with Karisa, Jess and Katherine. We stayed at Cearsars Palace. We all went to MargaritaVille then me and Karisa met up with Sam and we went dancing. Saturday was pool time and then we walked around the strip for a while until it was time to go to the Golden Nugget. Then we hung at the pool some more until the rest of our group (Ashley, Cole, and Jill) flew in. We ended up at a Russian restaurant that was pretty cool. WednesDAY was training then that night we all headed back to the strip for dinner at MESA and the fountains. Once back at the hotel I met up w/ Ash and we hung out. I fell in love w/ the city and can not wait to go back again. Even the plane ride home was great. Really good conversation--and I got someone to vote Scott! Rock on! I came back w/ more shot glasses for my collection.

Aside from Vegas things have been really busy. I have everything I brought to Denver moved into my apartment and organized. I'm pretty sure my brother is coming out next weekend to bring the rest of my stuff. Yay for that! Tomorrow is my McInnis time, I miss those people like crazy. It's odd that while I was in Las Vegas I was homesick for Denver. Yet since I have been in Denver I have not been homesick for Ohio. It's just strange. Speaking of Ohio...Lebron James. All I am going to say about that is that he made a bad life decision.

It's raining...it's pouring.

It poured all weekend. Annoying. Saturday morning I was in a parade for Scott McInnis, as you can see from the picture we were all soaking wet. I will look back and have good memories of it. After the parade I went to Tom's house to watch the England vs. USA game. It was the first time I have ever watched a soccer game and I really enjoyed it--I watched 4 other games throughout the weekend. I'm addicted! There must be something about sporting events that only come around every 4 years ago. I still say Green should get team USA's most valuable player. Poor guy.

Other than that a lot of...crap has been going on. I was told I was over reacting, and with the information you know about the situation your right. BUT there is more, not a lot but enough that this is not over-reacting. Others would be a lot worse. I think things are turning around with that. Nothing that happened can be un-done, but I'm glad everyone is seeing clearing-finely.

Brett is moving to Maui TOMORROW. I think he will love it...and now I have family in Hawaii--Good luck Brett, moving somewhere new is a great experience! I recommend it to everyone! Speaking of moving, I am trying to find time to make it to Ohio for a weekend, and trying to find a cheap flight. I will let you all know when this happens, well some of you. Others I want to surprise. lol

AND yes I know, I saw. I will let you know what I think when I figure that out myself.

Ryan Rocks

Ryan is officially a Firemedic!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AHH! I am beyond excited and proud of my big brother. Way to go Ryan-you're going to do great. I love watching you grow into a really great man.

This has been a good few days for me. For starters I'm beyond excited for my brother. I enjoy my internship. Last night after work me Lyndsay and Josh met up with Tory and went out for drinks. It is the funnest night I have had in a really long time. I'm going to post the Facebook conversation the followed the evening, because that explains the craziness of the night better than I can.

-Mandy: Uh so guys we should tip him more. Why? Well we had the manager take apart our booth to find my cell phone...that was in the window. Oh geez. Great times!
-Tory "Let me get a flash light so we can see what we're working with here":) Classic.
-Joshua that's what she said
-Tory haha
-Mandy That's my line.
-Joshua I had to fish your phone out of the window. I get usage rights :)
-Mandy It was your fault in the first place! Remember we blamed the guy in the white shirt. Want me to call the manager and confirm this? I could--I do have his number you know....ha
-Tory I feel sorry for Josh!
-Mandy I can't for the life of me imagine why?

So yea good times. Today I went to a Fundraiser. It was the first one I have been too, I def enjoyed it and I liked hearing him speak. I completely support him and am going to work REALLY hard to get him elected. The whole parking downtown and finding where this place was at was tricky. I finely found some place like 5 blocks away, but it worked out.

Things are coming together with jobs but it's still really complicated. I'll fill ya all in when I know more :)

The Cavs play Detroit this evening so GO CAVS!
