Wasn't supposed to come to this.

I can't sleep, at all. I'm laying in bed typing this from my cell. Probably better than tweeting. I lied to someone today, which is huge. I don't ever do that. There was no way to be honest...when I don't even know the truth. I feel like I'm awful to him, for a long time now. He's always there. The truth is he's the awful one and I'm the idiot one for thinking maybe just maybe this will be different. Then I come back to Earth. He's awful but that doesn't mean I should be. Siigh. The twenties are hard. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. By 25 we are expected to have it all together. Ha! I'm not even close. Most of the 30 year olds I know have no idea where they want to end up. One day this will all make sense. The guys that aren't interested won't matter. The friends that matter will still be interesting. Until then there is wine and netflx :)

Maybe I can't sleep because I'm dreading this week. I wrote a 10 page paper today. I have another paper tomorrow. A republican event Tuesday and I have to read 5 chapters of a leadership book and start my 7th class. Wednesday and Thursday is homework and then another 8 page paper along with an additional 5 page paper. I'm tired just thinking about it.

I picked up my bridesmaid dress for jessicas wedding :) I also bought a rehersal dinner dress. Now I'm just need sliver heels. Its slowly coming together. Woot woot for 48 hours in Ohio!

Titanic

Tickets have been booked! I am headed to Indianapolis to see Cindy on June 20th. I will be in Indiana until early Friday. Then Cindy and I are driving to Ohio. Friday is Jess's rehearsal dinner and Saturday is the wedding. On Sunday I am spending the early part of the day with my family then my aunt is taking me to the airport and I fly home at 4:30pm. In other words I am only in Ohio for about 48 hours. Flying into Indianapolis saves me about $100 and I have been wanting to go there for a looong time. Getting back on Sunday enables me to save a vacation day for my Seattle or Chicago trip later in the summer. I also want to go to Mt. Rushmore. Maybe memorial day weekend? Anyways: to my Ohio friends this trip will be busy, and I do not have plans to get back to Ohio for the forseeable future. There are so many places I want to go, and it's time that I did!

What a weekend! Friday I saw Titanic in 3-D with Chirsty and Natalie. It was amazing, I had the same emotions all those years ago. In the 3-D it was that much better. Go see it, all these years later it is still my favorite movie.

After the movie Natalie and I met up with Michelle and Sally. We went to the church which was awful so we went to this chill bar-for the life of me I cannot remember the name right now. Cheap drinks that are really good :)

Saturday Natalie me and Tristan went to Hamburger Marys. Then Tristan and I ran a ton of errands. Then I rushed to get ready and Ryan, Kirk, Brad and I went to the Rockies game! It was a downpour (rare occurrence in Denver) so the game ended up being delayed for a really long time. None the less it was a lot of fun. We left and headed to The Wynkoop and had really awkward conversations. Yeeeah.

Now I'm hanging out watching True Blood. Whenever it rains I just pretend I am in Seattle, so I'm going to enjoy this dreary Saturday.

Bedrock

What is hardest to accept about the passage of time is that the people who once mattered the most to us are wrapped up in parentheses.

-John Irving, The Cider House Rules

Whoa time is flying!

Friday night I was exhausted. It was just a long day. I will leave it at that.

Saturday Natalie, Kenyon, and I went out. We met up with Cathy and Jen. It was sooo much fun! Just historical. Frogger, bedrocking, Giant jenga and all that fun stuff. Think we scared poor Hermione half to death, or at least my neighbors.

This past weekend was also Easter. I spent the early part of the day with Uncle Jack then the whole Colorado family had a big dinner. It was good to see everyone! No crazy stories stand out in my mind like they have in the past.

Other than that I am excited my two favorite authors have books coming out in the next few weeks. Great book overload!!!! Bring it on. If everything goes according to plan in my MAED I will graduate Labor Day weekend. Anyone say P-A-R-T-Y?

"Things just don’t work out. That’s the most simple explanation for life. You can’t dwell on why something that didn’t or shouldn’t have happened, but it did. So just move on. You can sit there crying over some boy who did you wrong, or you can go out and live life to its fullest. Everyone needs reasons why things are the way that they are, but over thinking over powers your brain. It gets you hanging onto the past when what you really need to be doing is moving forward and focusing on greater things. When things don’t work out, find something that will."
