Autumn!

Life is busy with good stuff. It's autumn, and that always makes everything that much better. I spend way too much time in Bath and Body Works yesterday. I got Halloween soap, and candles AND air fragrance. So now my apartment is clean (it was a very productive weekend--even my closet is organized!) and it smells like autumn leafs. It doesn't get much better than that. There is a corn maze in my future, and Ashley is going to deliver any day now. It is all so exciting!
Grad school is getting closer everyday. It's not going to be easy. I'm worried I'm out of practice. The homework will be an adjustment. It will all take a bit to catch on. Thankfully Trisha, Ryan and hopefully Kirk will be taking it with me. Misery loves company, and we can all benefit from study groups.

Ellie is leaving in 2 weeks. I know I'm going to miss her, I just don't think I realize how much yet. She is my person I can call and she'll do random things no one else would. I'm going to miss that, and just everything about her. Denver is losing a rock star!

I found a note you had written me in my planner. It was no big deal, but I like being reminded that it wasn't all in my head. It really was...something. When you figure out what that was, let me know.

It's my birthday month!

Hi all. It's October! It's the most wonderful, amazing, fabulous month of the year!

Tomorrow Ashley, Cole, Karisa--her friend Erika, and I are going to the largest corn maze in the world. I can't make this up. I'm very excited. I started researching haunted houses--which is great but it makes me miss Adam even more!

So I love Colorado, but I found something Ohio does better. Autumn. Leafs don't turn red here, it's hot, everything is still green, and apparently it snows in October here---I don't understand how seeing as it's 90 freaking degrees here! Next year I'll be in some random country, they can prolly do fall better. Sorry Colorado you fail at fall.

Other than that things are good. I have a different outlook on things...it's hard to explain. I'm really glad I found out about the acceptance when I did, the anticipation would have killed me. BUT it gives me 10 months of waiting. I feel like I'm in limbo again and I hate that. I'm all settled in here, but it's different now that I know I am going to be leaving. My plan is to come back to Denver after, but honestly who knows? I'm going to go to where there is a job. If that's Denver great--but if it's not that's ok too. If I live in the Eastern time zone TV would make sense again---TV does NOT cater to Mountain Time. So freaking lame. I'm open to anything.

I'm coming to visit Ohio over Thanksgiving. It's time. I need to touch base with my moh.

Who knows where I will end up. I really like where I am, and I like where I am headed. BUT I do know life throws curves. If you want to hear God laugh tell him your plans right?
