it must be love
March is flying by. Dennis was here last weekend. It was a packed weekend. We went to the capital, money museum, Black Hawk, Boulder, Nederlands and a lot of good food places. Did I mention it was Restaurant week? THE BEST WEEK OF THE YEAR. I managed to pack in four restaurants this year. The Palm, Rodizzion, La Fondu and Bayou Bobs. Yummm. Other than that I have been suffering through the hell this is Research Methods. I hate everything about this class. E V E R Y T H I N G. I cannot stress that point enough. Thank goodness it ends Monday.
Today was the Republican Assembly. I hated everything about it, Between the SCREAMING and disrespect. That is not what I signed up for. Though, I did appreciate hearing the rules read in auctioneer banter, I am embarrassed to be a Republican. Also, they were rude. hmph.
Next weekend is Saint Patrick's Day. We are all planning an entire weekend of festivities. AH! So excited :)

Na na na na
S-A-T-U-R-D-A-Y
Hi kids. Hope everyone is enjoying their weekends. I went to the Church last night, which I have been wanting to go to for forever. It was...well it was a lot of fun, but the atmosphere was a little creepy. It's in an actual church. Like we are talking stain glass windows with pictures of Jesus and arch ways. That's all fine and dandy, but now it's a bar? Do people really want to be dancing and drinking in a church? I'm just not so sure. Glad I went, not so sure I'd go again.
After church when I was walking home I ran into a couple guys who are Republicans. We ended up all sitting outside the capital talking about politics. Ha I know I am that lame, but it was cool....in terms of crazy people you meet on your way to and from a bar. Really I talk to everyone, SO I have stories.
Today I got to hang with my fave couple Cole and Ash. We went to Applebees then hung at their apartment. Ash and I went to the store and looked at all the baby clothes. AHH SO cute! I can't wait until their little one arrives in October (lucky libra!) They refuse to find out if they are having a little girl or boy---sooo buying cute clothes is difficult. BUT there are a lot of clothes with elephants on them. Good---the little one can be a Republican. (Oh geez! What did Colorado do to me!?!?)
Ok guys, enjoy your night!

What do you want?
I turned in my application to grad school. Should know the status in a couple of weeks...so more on that later.
It was a good weekend. Friday night me Sam, Karisa and Hilary went to Elitch Gardens. It's a really small amusement park in Denver. It was their beer night, but there was no one there. So we got to ride the rides like 5 times in a row and walked on to everything. Good thing because I don't think I would have liked it otherwise. It's no Cedar Point (Yes Sam I went there AGAIN) Just A LOT smaller. Very cute though, and right in Downtown. AND it has fantastic views of the city.
Saturday me and Lyndsay went to Arvada to be in their parade for Ken Buck. Well Lyndsay locked her keys in her trunk so we had to wait for forever for AAA to get there. Then we went to a Jefferson County Republicans baseball game. Our team (the Ken Buck team) won the first game, but lost the second :( sad, but a lot of fun. That night I went out to dinner with Sally, Mere and Kyle. We went to the Mexican place downtown--yyumm.
So Since I have been in Denver I have interned on the Scott Mcinnis Campaign. I'm working with the Scott Gessler Campaign and volunteering on the Ken Buck Campaign. I was called a political junkie. Oh my gosh--when did that happen?! AND a Republican Junkie none the less. Go figure.
Other than that things are good. My mom will be here Tuesday morning. We are getting plates and a License for me that day. Wednesday I have to work, but that night I we are going to head to Aspen. Spend the night there and hang out there on Thursday. Aspen is far enough away from the highway so it should be good. It's so sad about that fire though. I was just there a few months ago with Sally. The small town we went though and everything is probably gone :(
It's just a nice fit here. I love the city. I would love to go abroad and travel, but I could very well end up back here. AND I think that's a good thing. For now though very excited for my mom to be here in 2 days!!!

It's June!?!?
I'm here, I'm here! I am sorry. I was waiting to get my camera back (a friend had it) and then I just got busy. So lets back track.
Two weeks ago was the Rep
ublican State Assembly. Me and Brenden drove up to Fort Collins on Friday and met up with Devin and Nate, we were all sharing a room. The night was a blast we played Kings and fought over a bed---for hours.
We had to be at the convention center at 5:45am the next day...we were all exhausted after only a couple hours of sleep. The day was great though. Packed full of people. We were there to support Scott. It reminded me why I LOVE politics. ANYWAYS we were there the entire day then I went home took a cat nap and went to Tom's house. We ended up meeting up with Meredith and Kyle and saw a bar at Washington Park Grill. All in all it was a great week.
I have been getting into the swing of working, and it's consuming my weeks and not leaving time to intern. Which I miss A LOT. So far I like the job though.
Memorial Day weekend was great. Friday night I went to the Rock
ies game with some people from work then we went to the bar. I really love Rockies game. Such a great vibe, and like the entire team is hot--which doesn't hurt :) I couldn't stay out very late though because I had to get up early to go to Wyoming to see Brad and Aunt Loreen. It was a 4 hour drive, but totally worth it. We went to the Planetarium, restaurants, and drove up into the mountains. It was just good to see them! It has been to long. Saturday I drove home. Then Sunday I went to a BBQ at Tom's house. Ashley came with me for a little while. We played corn hole then we all played kick ball--with beer. Interesting combination. It was a lot of fun though.
So things are busy...which I like. I'm juggling work, Interning, friends and apartment searching. Loving every minute of it!

Have you changed your clocks?
Things in Denver are going good. I had an interview on Friday and I have another one on Tuesday. Score. This past weekend I had the entire house to myself. Friday night I met up with Tory at a Young Republican thing. We started at an Irish Bar then we went to the oldest bar in Denver called My Brothers Bar. They are known for their burgers. Saturday I went to the outlet mall then me and Sally hung out and went to a movie. Today I just hung here cleaning/laundry and watching The Cutting Edge Marathon on ABC family. It was fantastic! It has been a long time since I just had a day to chill. Ya know?
So Brady Quinn was trade
d from the Browns to the Broncos--what an upgrade for him! I don't really follow football but I think he is adorable, so I'm good with it ;) This is me saying Welcome to Denver Brady---I mean I could uh you know show you around?? ha.
Speaking of sports the Cavs beat the Celtics!!! I just want Denver and the Cavs to be in the finals...that way they play some of their games here!

This past weekend...
I feel like I haven't been telling you guys what I have been doing, instead I have been talking nonsense. You wanna know what I have been up to? Here goes:
It was a good weekend.
Friday night Dan and I went to a bar called Tavern on the Town. It's a really cool bar. There is a back room that opens to the outside in the summer. In the winter it's obviously closed. There is also a random bowling ally in the back. You all know how much I hate bowling, but it was fun. Dan and I just hung out and watched ESPN. A couple of creepers tried to hit on me and I thought a guy was going to try to steel my favorite lotion. No worries though we made it out with the lotion. ha.
Saturday I went and did errands during the day then that evening I went to Meredith and Kyle's for dinner. They made steak, sweet potatoes, veggies, salad and Texas toast (yes they still call it Texas toast even in Texas) AND I brought chocolate cake. It was delicious. When I get an apartment I promised to have them over for dinner.
Today was a lazy day. I'm reading the JR Ward books, and whoever said they are better than the Sookie books hasn't read the Sookie books. These books aren't bad, but they are really predictable...maybe my problem is I miss Sookie. Other than that I'm trying to enjoy the Winter Olympics, but I'm having a hard time getting into them. I like Jamaica though (Jamaica has a bob sled team..) Now I'm babysitting Ashley and preparing to watch The Office :)
I did realize though that I like Colorado better than Ohio, so that's pretty cool. And people who think we have more snow than Ohio should eat their words, I have seen a total of like 3 days of light snow since I got here. I have been here 5 weeks (haha Adam I made it 5 weeks!)
Oh this week I have an interview for an campaign internship with a governor campaign. I'll let you know how is goes.

Choices
My entire life has been packed with choices.
Where did I want to go to College?
Did I want to move to DC?
If not, where did I want to move?
Am I a Republican or a Democrat?
Obviously all of my choices have led me to where I am today. I no longer have choices. The when I have been wondering about for so long is right now.
It's pretty exciting.
